Website 0003 Jasmine Landau

Jasmine has experience in high-value commercial litigation, international commercial arbitration and complex insolvency and restructuring matters. She also advises clients on insurance coverage disputes and responses to fast-moving data and privacy breaches, including recovery from ransomware and phishing attacks.

Jasmine brings a breadth of court advocacy experience from her time as a commercial litigator in Toronto and Ottawa, Canada, and an ease and confidence that persuades decision-makers. She is able to distill highly technical analysis into straightforward explanations for her clients and the Court. This is reflected in her academic work, which seeks to bridge the gaps between specialized areas and practical application. Jasmine has also maintained her credentials as a practicing lawyer and notary public in Ontario so she can provide cross-border services to clients in Canada and the Cayman Islands.

Jasmine is also actively scaling up her capacity to advise clients on the proper precautions to take in the cryptocurrency, NFT smart contract and digital assets realm in respect of fraud, insolvency and dispute resolution issues.

She is fluent in French and Mandarin Chinese.

Jasmine joined Bedell Cristin in August 2023.
