Jonathan Fitzgibbons attended and graduated from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, with a Bachelor of Arts (English Literature) in 1996 and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) in 1999.
Jonathan was admitted to the High Court of New Zealand as a Barrister and Solicitor in 2000 and commenced working in the Legal Department at Telstra Saturn Limited in New Zealand, before moving in 2002 to the London office of Washington D.C. firm Crowell & Moring where he worked as an Associate Solicitor. Jonathan was admitted to the Supreme Court of England and Wales as a Solicitor in 2005. Whilst with Telstra Saturn Ltd., Jonathan built up considerable experience of contract, competition, e-commerce and privacy law as well as considerable regulatory compliance experience in the context of the New Zealand telecommunications industry. During his time at Crowell & Moring Jonathan advised clients on compliance with data protection and e-commerce regulation, and worked on numerous litigation and investment funds matters. Jonathan has also had recent in-house experience, having been seconded to Coca-Cola Company while employed with Crowell & Moring.
Jonathan focuses on corporate and mutual funds work at Solomon Harris and has worked with Banco Itau and Unibanco in Brazil in this area as well as working with other major fund promoters and managers such as Societe Generale.
